- Glad you liked it. :) I've been busily adding all sorts of stuff to all sorts of D&D books articles, most of which have something to do with Greyhawk. :) BOZ 15:47, 29 October 2010 (EDT)

Advice with anti-spam settings for wikis
Hi Robbastard,
I've been helping someone get another MediaWiki wiki project off of the ground (one that is not public yet) and was telling them about your brilliant anti-spam policies here. I'm especially impressed with the way that you now have the entire wiki locked to non-editors and force people to use the Canonfire! forum to get an account. If he could do that, he could avoid all the sillyness that I know you and the other editors were reverting and then his team will be able to get the project ready to go live faster.
(I'm so frustrated that Wikia will not allow me to do the same thing with my own wiki - mind you it is now so full of adverts it is virtually unreadable. I shall probably be moving Spelljammer Wiki off of Wikia when I have the time and money to be able to do it. The 'fear' of the same level of spam that you and your team have been dealing with has been one of the things that have made me wait. But if you are willing to share your methods, you could be helping two wikis to move forward.)
Anyhoo, I wonder if you would be able to get me the instructions on how to lock down MediaWiki. My friend has access to a forum on his website, so he should be able to do both the tricks that you have done here.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me (and my friend). Big Mac 19:16, 28 June 2011 (EDT)
- Your best bet would be to talk to Gary Holian. He really isn't active on the wiki, but you can pm him on the Canonfire boards. His user name is PSmedger.--Robbastard 20:05, 28 June 2011 (EDT)
- Thanks for the help! I'll get onto him now.
Robbastard,
Just curious, where did you get the GREAT map of the Amedio jungle you uploaded here?
Thanks,

Reckoning of Hell
This user has been going around re-nominating articles which were previously AFD'd, and so far he has been pretty successful, at least in getting them merged instead of kept as articles. However, I am concerned because Reckoning of Hell is closer to getting deleted than the others were. BOZ 08:13, 10 February 2012 (EST)
Infobox Images
I'm pretty indifferent about whether the infobox images are 200 pixels or 250. 250 takes up a lot of visual real estate, but makes for clearer images with more detail, so I can see the pros and cons of both. If I had to choose, I'd go with the 250 pixel standard. -- Rip 19:54, 20 March 2012 (EDT)
Dragon & Dungeon Magazine Images
Hi Robb, as you have already seen, i like a lot to add images to the wiki, many of them taken from Dragon & Dungeon Magazines. As I am italian, i do not possess any of english D&D Magazines, some of them were published also here (i have all the ones with Greyhawk content). So I want to ask you, if you have some of them, if you could scan (in the Hightest Quality possible) some of the pages with greyhawk related material, so that I could take the images from the scans and put them here. I know it's a bit weird request because there are already scanned pdf on the net, but many of then are in a quality that make the images almost impossible to extract.
Kind Regards ^_^, Omega9999
- I already have some, but it will take me awhile to get around to it. RL eats into my wiki time greatly. :)--Robbastard (talk) 12:21, 16 November 2014 (EST)
I know, but if you can manage to scan some pages and send them to me, I will do the rest ^_^
