Welcome . . .
to the Great Library of Greyhawk, LordTshil! In answer to your question:
Hello I hope that I can help my doing just some grunt work of copying and pasting stuff to expand what is already becoming a great site. I am having trouble creating a link for the city of Zeif. If anyone could tell what I am doing wrong I would be very greatful. Is what I am doing worth while to this project? ````User:LordTshil 6/5/2009
- It looks like you've been really busy--thanks! The only things I see that could be problematic are to make sure that any sources you list in the bibliography section are indeed relevant--for instance, you list the 1980 folio as a source for Atherstone, but I'm not sure the town is even mentioned in that source. Also, some of the sections in your settlement articles are probably unnecessary, such as the governmental branches--unless of course, the settlement is autonomous or semi-autonomous. Other than that, great work! I look forward to seeing more of you!--Robbastard 16:08, 11 June 2009 (EDT)
"How do I get the pages I created to appear under the appropriate letter?"
- You have to add a "Category:Greyhawk settlements" in double brackets to the bottom of the page.--Robbastard 16:19, 11 June 2009 (EDT)
- Ahh, I see the problem--leave out the "|*".--Robbastard 16:37, 11 June 2009 (EDT)
I'm deleting the page "LordTshil" because it isn't a user page. To find a user page, look for the username preceded by "User:". Therefore, your user page is User:LordTshil, not "LordTshil." I've moved all the information from that page (& it's talk page) to your user pages.--Robbastard 16:23, 11 June 2009 (EDT)
There is now a "stub" category for articles that have yet to be fleshed out. If you could add "[[Category:Stubs]]" at the bottom of each short article you're creating (in addition to any other appropriate categories), that would be great. See my talk page for more info. Also, don't forget to link to any proper nouns (such as the names of nations) in the article text. Thanks!--Robbastard 20:28, 23 June 2009 (EDT)
Templates & infoboxes
While editing Eastpass, I just noticed that you'd copy & pasted the full version of the markup to create the infoxbox. For future reference, this is not necessary--you can simply copy and paste what's listed under "Usage" on the Template:Greyhawk Settlement page, which saves loads of time, and makes it easier to add details.--Robbastard 18:11, 30 June 2009 (EDT)
